SGB’S new mastclimbers debut at Cardiff University
Access specialist SGB Project Services is deploying its new modular MCM mast climbing work platforms on their first UK project.
The new equipment, purchased from manufacturer Alimak Hek, is being used by contractor A&N Lewis during the refurbishment of the Medical Biochemistry and Immunology building at the University of Cardiff. SGB has supplied two twin MCM Mastclimbers™ to a height of 42m, which are being used to access the façade of the building to allow new windows to be fitted.
The new Alimak Hek modular range is designed for high performance, being longer, stronger and faster than the previous varied mix of products. Its modular design permits the major components to be combined in a variety of configurations, deliverinMast climbing work platformg unprecedented flexibility for the user.
